四国地方は、日本の8つの地方の一つです。北は瀬戸内海によって本州と隔てられており、4つの県で構成されています。四国は、日本の本州である本州の南西、九州の東に位置し、北は瀬戸内海によって本州と隔てられています。

香川県（県都：高松市）

Kagawa Prefecture (Prefectural capital: Takamatsu City)

讃岐うどん：県の旧称である讃岐国にちなんで名付けられたこの太麺は、小麦粉で作られ、独特のコシと歯ごたえ（いわゆる「コシ」）で全国的に有名です。香川県には600軒以上のうどん店があり、良質な小麦、塩、そしてだし汁に使われるいりこ（干しイワシ）の生産の長い伝統があります。

Sanuki Udon: Named after the former Sanuki Province of the prefecture, these thick noodles are made from wheat flour and are nationally famous for their unique chewiness and firmness (the so-called "koshi"). Kagawa Prefecture has over 600 udon restaurants and a long tradition of producing high-quality wheat, salt, and dried sardines used in the broth.

金刀比羅宮（こんぴらさん）：航海の神様を祀る有名な神社。本殿へは1,368段の石段を登る必要があり、精神的にも肉体的にも参拝客で賑わいます。

かつおのたたき：高知を代表する料理。新鮮なかつおを厚切りにし、藁の火でさっと炙り、中は生のまま、表面はスモーキーな風味に仕上げたたき風の料理です。生ニンニクとネギのスライス、そして柑橘系のポン酢を添えて食べられます。

Katsuo no Tataki: A representative dish of Kochi Prefecture. Thick slices of fresh bonito are quickly seared over a straw fire, leaving the inside raw while creating a smoky, tataki-style dish. It is served with sliced ​​raw garlic and green onions, and a citrus-based ponzu sauce.

よさこい祭り：毎年8月に開催される、色鮮やかな衣装と独特の鳴子（木製の拍子木）を身に着けた何千人もの踊り手が通りを踊り歩く、エネルギッシュでダイナミックなダンスフェスティバルです。

阿波おどり：毎年8月12日から15日まで徳島市で開催される、日本で最も有名かつ最大の伝統舞踊祭。掛け声は「踊る者も見る者も愚か者！二人とも愚か者なら、踊って楽しもう！」という意味です。

Awa Odori: Held annually in Tokushima City from August 12th to 15th, it is Japan's most famous and largest traditional dance festival. The chant means, "Both those who dance and those who watch are fools! If we're both fools, let's dance and have fun!"

鳴門渦潮：世界三大潮流の一つ、鳴門海峡に発生する巨大な渦潮。遊覧船や大鳴門橋下の「渦の道」から間近に眺めることができます。

Naruto Whirlpools: Giant whirlpools that form in the Naruto Strait, one of the world's three major tidal currents. You can view them up close from sightseeing boats or the "Whirlpool Walkway" under the Great Naruto Bridge.
